The Israelites were under the yoke of Rome. Although they witnessed the clear proofs of Jesus -peace be upon him-, they did not accept his invitation. They were awaiting a savior messiah. They believed that this messiah would be a fighter and cause the Jews to dominate the world by saving them from the suppression of other peoples. Because they saw Jesus -peace be upon him- so kind and tender, they did not consider him as the messiah. They denied him, and they tried to prevent people from being his followers. They did not succeed. They decided to kill Jesus -peace be upon him- like John the Baptist -peace be upon him. But according to the holy verse:

“The evil plot encloses but the men who make it.” (Fatýr: 43)

Their plan failed, they were caught in their own snares.

Then, Allah, the Exalted, informed about those who schemed to slay Jesus -peace be upon him:

“And they (the Jews) schemed, and Allah schemed against them: And Allah is the best of schemers.” (Âl’ Imran: 54)

He plans better than they do, they were ensnared by a web of their own making. Allah is the most powerful to punish criminals, in a way that they can not perceive where the punishment comes from.

Almighty Allah informed His servant and messenger Jesus -peace be upon him- about the evil plan with revelation and explained how He made the plans of the schemers fail.

“Behold! Allah said: O Jesus! I will take you and raise you to Myself.” (Âl’ Imran: 55)

By this message, Almighty Allah announced the good news that He will save Jesus -peace be upon him- from the Jews’ hands and cause him to ascend safe and sound to the heavens without suffering.

“And clear you (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme” (Âl’ Imran: 55)

Henceforth you will have no link with them, they can not torture you.

“I will make those who follow you superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection.” (Âl’ Imran: 55)

This good news belongs to the Muslims, because it is Muhammad’s -peace be upon him- nation who is truly following Jesus -peace be upon him- and who is accepting all the other prophets, as well.

O Christians! Will you not wake up to your misbelief?

“Then shall you all return unto Me.” (Âl’ Imran: 55)

On the Day of Judgment both believers and disbelievers will be present at the divine court of Almighty Allah.

“And I will judge between you of the matters wherein you dispute.” (Âl’ Imran: 55)

That day, whoever is right and whoever is wrong will be clearly seen. Those who are believers and monotheists will be eternally rewarded, unbelievers and polytheists will be punished with an eternal penalty.

“As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.” (Âl’ Imran: 56)

They will find no one who will save any of them from the divine penalty.

O Christians! Turn yourselves, repent and search out the Truth.

Allah, the Exalted, raised Jesus -peace be upon him- up to the heavens as He did Idris -peace be upon him. The informer sent by the Jews was mistakenly caught and crucified supposing that they captured Jesus -peace be upon him.

Almighty Allah, Who knows the secrets in the heavens and the earth, Who is the knower of all that happened and will happen, strictly decrees in His holy verses:

“That they rejected faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge.

That they said (in boast), ‘We killed Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah...” (Nisaa: 156-157)

Because the Jews spoke against Mary a tremendous slander by accusing her of being unchaste though she has been preferred over all women in the universe, Allah, the Most Great, sealed the hearts of the Jews. Further, because they proudly claimed the slaying of Jesus -peace be upon him-, they became extremely shameless.

Almighty Allah has denied the crucifixion of Jesus -peace be upon him- by the following holy verse:

“But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them.” (Nisaa: 157)

They killed and crucified someone resembling Jesus.

“And those who differ therein are full of doubts.” (Nisaa: 157)

Some of them claimed that the killed man was Jesus, some others insisted he was not. They said “If Jesus was slain, where is our friend? If our friend was killed, where is Jesus?” They reached agreement that a man was killed, but disagreed on his identity.

“With no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow.” (Nisaa: 157)

Having many different beliefs about this issue proves they have no certain knowledge about it.

“For of a surety they killed him not.” (Nisaa: 157)

Their boasting about killing him is a lie.

“No, Allah raised him up unto Himself.” (Nisaa: 158)

Allah has saved Jesus -peace be upon him- from their wickedness and raised him up to the Heavens alive, with both his body and spirit.

“Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.” (Nisaa: 158)

All His orders are based on divine wisdom.

-Peace be upon him-

Christians went astray from the pure monotheistic creed brought by Jesus -peace be upon him- and by all the previous prophets. They mixed it with perversions, which have no relation to the religion of Allah Almighty.

It is commanded in the holy verses as follows:

“One day Allah will gather the Messengers together, and ask: ‘What was the response you received (from men to your teaching)?’ They will say: ‘We have no knowledge: It is You Who know in full all that is hidden.” (Maida: 109)

O our Allah! Whatever we know, You know it better than us. You know better what our nations hid inside and what they performed in our absence. We glorify you. Only You, are free of all deficiencies.

“Then will Allah say: ‘O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favor to you and to your mother.”

I created you without father and made you a certain evidence for My Omnipotence. I also granted several blessings to your mother and elevated her degree.

Behold! I strengthened you with the holy spirit.” (Maida: 110)

By this means I taught you necessary things, inspired you with the truths of the religion and supported you with everything you need.

“So that you did speak to the people in childhood and in maturity.” (Maida: 110)

As a miracle you were speaking during your childhood: You were saying:

“I am indeed a servant of Allah: He has given me revelation and made me a prophet.” (Mary: 30)

When you reached maturity, you informed people of Allah’s religion:

“Behold! I taught you the Book and wisdom, the Law and the Gospel.” (Maidaa: 110)

Together with the Law and the Gospel I taught you writing and wisdom which is the useful knowledge. You knew the secrets of the holy scriptures, deduced their meanings and acted according to them.

“And behold! You made out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and you breathed into it and it became a bird by My leave.” (Maida: 110)

All of these were taking place by My permission.

“And you healed those born blind and the lepers, by My leave.” (Maida: 110)

You healed the blind and the incurable lepers by My decree and permission.

“And behold! You did raise the dead by My leave.” (Maida: 110)

You brought life to the dead by My permission and decree.

Almighty Allah refutes those who ascribe divinity to Jesus -peace be upon him- and explains that those extraordinary events were His. He made appear to them in the hands of His servant prophet Jesus -peace be upon him- as miracles.

“And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) you when you did show them the clear signs, and the unbelievers among them said: ‘This is nothing but evident magic.” (Maida: 110)

They considered the miracles as magic and called the Prophet a magician, but they could not succeed.

O Jesus! You were granted these blessings and you faced such a disbelief in spite of these proofs.

Allah, the Exalted, informs in His holy verses that enmity and hatred will continue amongst the Christians until doomsday because they went back on their word.

“From those, too, who call themselves Christians, we did take a Covenant.” (Maida: 14)

He took a covenant from them to believe Allah’s oneness and have faith in the future coming of His last Messenger Ahmad (Muhammad) -peace be upon him.

“But they forgot a good part of the Message that was sent them.” (Maida: 14)

They neglected, abandoned and even opposed Allah by transgressing His limits.

“So We estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the Day of Judgment.” (Maida: 14)

He caused a division among them. They spread malice and animosity and shed the blood of each other by accusing each other of taking evil road. Their selfish adherence to falsehood resulted in hatred and in their fighting and killing one another.

“And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.” (Maida: 14)

Then they will be punished and understand what they did.

Almighty Allah, in replying both to the Jews and the Christians, states:

“O People of the Book! There has come to you our Messenger.” (Maida: 15)

Our Messenger Muhammad -peace be upon him-, whose particular qualities mentioned in your holy books, has brought you the true religion and is inviting you to Islam.

“Making clear to you much that you used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary).” (Maida: 15)

The attributes of Muhammad -peace be upon him-, Allah’s unity, many orders and prohibitions were explained in their Book. Allah’s Messenger -peace be upon him- has passed many things over which were unnecessary to explain; if there did not exist a religious necessity, he abstained in making public those things. If everything was exposed to view, you would have been disgraced.

“There has come to you from Allah a light and a plain book.” (Maida: 15)

“The Light” is Muhammad -peace be upon him. It is only by him, one can find the right way.

Almighty Allah has decreed obedience to Muhammad -peace be upon him- together with that to Himself. He has considered obedience to Muhammad as that to Him.

“He who obeys the Messenger obeys Allah.” (Nisa: 80)

“And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatsoever forbids you, abstain (from it)” (Hashr: 7)

“Book” is the Holy Qur’an. It is expressing many concealed truths.

In the holy verses:

“This (Qur’an) is a Message for mankind, in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that Allah is the only One God, and that men of understanding may take heed.” (Abraham: 52)

“And this is a blessed Scripture which We have revealed. So follow it and fear Allah, that you may find mercy.” (An’am: 155)

Till today, none of the Qur’an’s verses or words or even its letters have changed. Allah, the Most High, declares He will preserve it.

“We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).” (Hijr: 9)

Allah, the Exalted, has approved and chosen Islam as the religion:

“Wherewith Allah guides all those who seek His Good Pleasure to ways of peace, and He brings them out of darkness by His Will unto light and guides them to a straight way.” (Maida: 16)

Thus by the help of this light, men are saved from incorrect ideas, acts and evil ways.

The religion in the Sight of Allah is Islam, Muhammad -peace be upon him- is the last Messenger and the Qur’an is the last holy book. O Christians, who and what do you believe in?

In order to inform of the incorrect way of the Christians and to warn them, Allah, the Exalted, states in His holy verses as follows:

“Say: Worship you besides Allah something, which has no power either to harm or to benefit you?” (Maidaa: 76)

All that you serve in place of Allah are the creatures of Allah, the Exalted. They possess for you neither hurt nor use.

Although this is the case, to ascribe Allah’s divinity to Jesus -peace be upon him- and to worship him, is an enormous slander.

“But it is Allah Who is the All-Hearer, All-Knower.” (Maidaa: 76)

He both hears the entreaties of His servants and knows the hidden things in their hearts.

“Say: O people of the Scripture! Exceed not the limits in your religion other than the truth.” (Maidaa: 77)

O Christians! Do not ascribe divinity to Christ by giving up his prophethood. O Jews! Do not belittle him by refuting his prophethood.

“And follow not the vain desires of folk who erred of old and led many astray and erred from a plain road.” (Maidaa: 77)

Those, who went astray and who misled, are mentioned in the holy verse and they are the notables. They did not aim for the truth in their religion.

“Evil indeed is that which their ownselves have sent forward before them.” (Maidaa: 80)

They will surely encounter the grave consequences of their false belief.

Allah, the Exalted, advises all of the People of the Book to accept Islam and interprets His promise to those who follow this invitation. Then to explain vain beliefs of the Christians He decrees as follows:

“In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary.” (Maida: 17)

Such a disgusting denial!

“Say: ‘Who then has the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother and all everyone that is on the earth?” (Maida: 17)

For, everything exists under His power and sovereignty. Then, who can interfere and hinder His Omnipotence and will?

So it is that, He divested Mary of worldly life. Jesus -peace be upon him- also is a man who could not live even one minute without Allah the Exalted’s divine power.

“For to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between.” (Maida: 17)

The right of creating and destruction, keeping alive and causing the death of all creatures only belongs to Him. He allows to live whoever He wills, He destroys whoever He wishes.

Without doubt, Jesus -peace be upon him- also is in this category and under Allah the Exalted’s authority.

“He creates what He pleases.” (Maida: 17)

He diversifies by creating a female from a male as He did Eve from Adam -peace be upon him. It was His will to create a male from a female as He did Jesus -peace be upon him. As is His will, He creates both of male and female from what He has brought into existence and is still creating humankind in this way. If He wills; He creates death in the living, life in the dead. If He pleases He brings into existence many, unique or unusual. If He wants He creates without using any effort from His creation, or He creates by means of His creatures. This was His creating a bird and reviving the dead by means of Jesus -peace be upon him.

While carrying out those acts, Jesus -peace be upon him- did not challenge Allah or display his divinity but merely confirmed His divinity and fulfilled Allah’s will. Otherwise, if Allah the Most Great had not ordained, Jesus -peace be upon him- could not perform any of those miracles. Thus Allah the Most Supreme creates whatever He wants whenever He wills.

“For Allah has power over all things.” (Maidaa: 17)

His Omnipotence is not restricted to certain areas or limited in scale.

Therefore, those who say, “Allah is the son of Mary, Jesus” are disbelievers without doubt.

Almighty Allah expounds Christians’ perversion since their extreme respect for Jesus -peace be upon him- caused them to deify him besides Allah:

“O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion.” (Nisaa: 171)

Do not belittle him by calling him “God” and keep your temperance.

“Nor say of Allah aught but the truth.” (Nisaa: 171)

Describe Him only by His most beautiful Names and high attributes. Do not attribute to Him a partner and a son or something like that, which is not proper.

“Christ Jesus the son of Mary was no more than a Messenger of Allah.” (Nisaa: 171)

He is simply one of the Messengers of Allah, the Exalted, and not the son of Allah as you claim.

“And His word which He bestowed on Mary.” (Nisaa: 171)

He is an order appearing by His Might. He was created by the holy command “Be”.

“And a spirit from Him.” (Nisaa: 171)

He is a spirit created by Him. For he was created as a miracle by His order “Be”, Jesus -peace be upon him- is called “Allah’s statement” for his honor. In order to elevate his glory, this spirit is referred to Allah, the Exalted. Almighty Allah gave life to many dead hearts by means of him.

In that case;

“Believe in Allah and His Messenger.” (Nisaa: 171)

Acknowledge Allah as the only One to be believed in and the Messenger as the last Messenger to be followed. Neither be in careless by disbelieving nor go to far excess by ascribing divinity to a human.

“Say not ‘Trinity.” (Nisaa: 171)

Do not believe in a trinity saying “God is of three: Allah, Jesus, Mary”, nor in an interpreted polytheism saying “Allah is three: Father, son and holy Ghost which are separate entities, but one or united.”

“Desist! It will be better for you.” (Nisaa: 171)

Abandon the doctrine of the trinity, give up this mistaken belief, this will be better for you.

“For Allah is one God: Glory be to Him.” (Nisaa: 171)

He has no partner, He is far above any need for multiplicity. He is not, as you have invented, a third of three.

“Far Exalted is He above having a son.” (Nisaa: 171)

Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son.

“To Him belongs all things in the heavens and on the earth.” (Nisaa: 171)

Everyone and everything owes their existence to Him. He is the Ruler and Owner of everything. His is people, His is property, His is sovereignty and possession. How can His creation be a part of His Self?

“And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.” (Nisaa: 171)

To create and dispose entire affairs, He does not need any assistant. It is He who perfectly regulates the affairs of His creation for their benefit. He fills the place of everything, nothing could fill His place and nothing could exist without His support.

O Christians! Do not ask, “How can Jesus be a servant?”

“Christ disdains not to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels nearest to Allah.” (Nisaa: 172)

They consider it as a great honor for themselves. If you really believe in Allah, this is His decree.

“Those who disdain His worship and are arrogant, He will gather them all together unto Himself to answer.” (Nisaa: 172)

Almighty Allah will inflict penalty on them for their refusal to worship Allah and for being proud.

Allah, the Exalted, declares the true nature of Jesus -peace be upon him- in His holy verse:

“We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs and evidences, and we supported him with the holy spirit.” (Baqara: 253)

Allah, the Most Great, gave Jesus -peace be upon him- clear proofs while still displaying his prophethood and virtue such as the Gospel, its verses comprising effective advice and warnings, also splendid miracles such as his talking in the cradle, reviving the dead, healing the blind and acquainting the unknown.

In the holy verse, Jesus -peace be upon him- has been openly mentioned by being linked to his mother. Here, there is a clear refutation to the falsehood of Christians who says “Jesus is God, and the son of God.”

It is declared in the holy verses:

“When Jesus came with clear signs, he said: ‘Now have I come to you with wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the points on which you dispute: Therefore, fear Allah and obey me.

For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord; so worship you Him, this is a Straight Way.” (Zukhruf: 63-64)

If you believe in Jesus -peace be upon him- this is His statement.

In this case, Jesus -peace be upon him- brought the same religion as the other Messengers had communicated.

Even then, after his ascension to the heavens, the message, which he and a continuation of monotheistic religion communicated, has become a different religion called Christianity which includes the unacceptable doctrine of the trinity.

Then Allah, the Exalted, displays in His holy verse exposing the wrongful claims, boasts of the Jews and the Christians:

“The Jews and the Christians say: ‘We are sons of Allah, and His beloved.” (Maidaa: 18)

They asserted they were not like other men, they claimed superiority to them in the presence of Allah; and by this arrogance they disrespected Allah, the Exalted.

“Say: ‘Why then does He punish you for your sins?” (Maidaa: 18)

On the other hand, from time to time Allah, the Most Great, chastises you even in this world. You are killed and taken into captivity. If you are really the sons and loved ones of Allah as you assert, why then has He prepared the fire of Hell for your disbelief and blasphemies.

Abu Said al Khudri -may Allah be pleased with him- reported: The Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- explains in his honorable Hadith as:

“When the Day of Resurrection comes a Mu’adhdhin (a proclaimer) would proclaim: ‘Let every people follow what they used to worship.’ Then all who worshipped idols and stones besides Allah would fall into the Fire, till only the righteous and the vicious and some of the people of the Book who worshipped Allah are left. Then the Jews would be summoned, and it would be said to them: ‘What did you worship?’ They will say: ‘We worshipped ‘Uzair, son of Allah.’ It would be said to them: ‘You tell a lie; Allah had never had a spouse or a son. What do you want now?’ They would be directed (to a certain direction) and asked: ‘Why don’t you go there to drink water?’ They would be pushed towards Fire (and they would find to their great dismay that) it was but a mirage (and the raging flames of fire) would be consuming one another, and they would fall into Fire. Then the Christians would be summoned and it would be said to them: ‘What did you worship?’ They would say: ‘We worshipped Jesus, son of Allah.’ It would be said to them: ‘You tell a lie; Allah did not take for Himself either a spouse or a son.’ Then it would be said to them: ‘What do you want?’ They would be directed (to certain direction) and asked: ‘Why don’t you go there to get water?’ But they would be pushed and gathered together towards the Hell, which was like a mirage to them, and the flames would consume one another. They would fall into Fire.” (Muslim)

It is declared in the following verse:

“No, you are but men, of the men He has created.” (Maidaa: 18)

You are completely the same as those who were created by Him and bound by His decree. It is Allah, Glorified and Exalted, who will judge regarding His servants.

“He forgives whom He pleases and He punishes whom He pleases.” (Maidaa: 18)

He covers the sins of those who repent; on the other hand chastisement is certain for those who ascribe partners unto Allah, the Exalted, and for those who accept something or someone created as the Creator.

“And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between.” (Maidaa: 18)

None of creation has the right to allege such an attachment to Almighty Allah other than servanthood. All of them exist subject to His Power, Greatness and Dominion.

“And to Him is the return (of all).” (Maidaa: 18)

On Judgement Day, to His presence is the journeying. He will bestow great rewards on believers, and dispense their deserved punishment to sinners.

Allah, Glorified and Exalted, invites all to have faith in the last messenger Muhammad -peace be upon him- in His holy verse:

“O People of the Book! Now has Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers.” (Maidaa: 19)

O man! This is a clean and last invitation. Have faith in Muhammad -peace be upon him. Because salvation is only with Islam.

Again a light of prophethood appeared for mankind, making things clear unto you. All has been explained by Muhammad -peace be upon him- who has been sent after a break in the series of Messengers and revelations.

“Lest you say ‘There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner.” (Maidaa: 19)

No, you are not excused now; it is impossible for you to give such a reason.

“Now has a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you.” (Maidaa: 19)

Such a Messenger that has come to give glad tidings to believers and to warn disbelievers.

“Allah is able to do all things.” (Maidaa: 19)

So then, one example of His Omnipotence and Perfection, is His sending Muhammad -peace be upon him- as the last Messenger.

O Jews and Christians!

Consider as if you are in the presence of Allah today. If you think once with your conscience, you can not argue that “a messenger has not come unto us yet.” You can not also attempt to offer the same excuses as those given in the interval period between revelations.

I have sent down to you a Messenger who makes clear all truth. You have heard and understood this. How can you object now? You have neglected divine orders and chosen for god your own souls’ lust. You, yourselves, have deliberately prepared your chastisement with your own hands and will.

“Truly, the religion in the Sight of Allah is Islam.” (Al’ Imran: 19)

According to this verse of the Holy Qur’an, it is impossible to be saved for the People of the Book if they do not have faith in Muhammad -peace be upon him- after his coming. Why are you knowingly going into the Hell! The religion in the Sight of Allah is Islam. Be Muslim and save yourself!

Allah, Exalted and Glorified, has sent him in a time when the coming of Messengers had ceased, religions were distorted, and people went away from Allah and the truth, a time when the number of pagans had increased.

The most important blessing is his being sent.

In one respected Hadith, it is stated:

“By Him, Allah, in whose Hand Muhammad’s soul is, there is none from amongst the Jews and the Christians (of these present nations) who hears about me and then dies without believing in the Message with which I have been sent but he will be from the dwellers of the Hell fire.”

All of them, though they heard Muhammad -peace be upon him-, denied and objected to Islam. This respected Hadith declares that they are the dwellers of Hell if they do not believe in him and his Message.

If somebody claims “Their religion is also right.” No! It is not true.

“Truly, the religion in the Sight of Allah is Islam.” (Al’ Imran: 19)

One, who does not believe in Allah, the Exalted, and Muhammad -peace be upon him- can not enter Paradise.

Jesus -peace be upon him-, in order to be a witness against the Christians, stated that he was only a servant of Allah.

It is declared in the holy verse as follows:

“They do blaspheme who say: ‘Allah is Christ, the son of Mary’” (Maidaa: 72)

Allah, the Exalted, is exempt of this slander.

“But said Christ: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’

Whoever joins other gods with Allah, Allah will forbid him the Garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.” (Maidaa: 72)

Whoever believes in other gods besides Allah, he can never be among the dwellers of Paradise. Because Heaven is the place to dwell only for men who have faith in one God: ALLAH

In the holy verse, it is stated as:

“They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the third of three; when there is no god save the One God. If they desist not from so saying a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.” (Maidaa: 73)

To say “Allah is the third of three” is absolute polytheism and disbelief from the point of view of both the words “Three” and “third.” There is no god but Allah, the One, to assume “three gods” is a pure denial of One Allah.

Allah, the Exalted, states in His holy verse:

“Will they not rather turn unto Allah and seek forgiveness of Him? For Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (Maidaa: 74)

O Christian world! Even though you are in a deep polytheism, Allah, the Exalted, invites you to repent and to ask His forgiveness. Why do you willingly prefer the fire of Hell? O man! Search the salvation means! Islamic faith and way of life can only obtain this salvation.

So, your disbelief leads you to Hell! Listen to your conscience and decide your own future.

Allah, the Exalted, incites the Christians to think conscientiously, in order for them to search the truth:

“Christ the son of Mary was no more than a Messenger.” (Maida: 75)

He is not god, but merely a messenger, a communicator and ambassador sent down by Allah’s, the Exalted, order and guidance.

Allah, Exalted and Glorified, has granted him clear miracles to strengthen his righteousness as He gave miracles to some of His other Messengers before. As Almighty Allah revived the dead by means of Jesus -peace be upon him-, without doubt He gave life to the stick by means of Moses -peace be upon him- and the stick became a gliding serpent. The latter is much more amazing than the former. If Jesus was created without father, no doubt Adam -peace be upon him- was created without both father and mother. This is much more wonderful. Allah creates all of these. Moses and Jesus -peace be upon them- are only means and places of Almighty Allah’s creation power.

Moreover Jesus -peace be upon him- was not the first messenger sent:

“Many were the Messenger that passed away before him.” (Maidaa: 75)

He was a human being as other Prophets.

“His mother was a woman of truth.” (Maidaa: 75)

She was a woman who did not deviate from honesty and fidelity, confirmed and believed in Allah and His Messengers and was strictly straight in her self, words.

“They had both to eat their daily food.” (Maidaa: 75)

In this way, it is stated that they do not possess the divine qualities, which were assigned to them. How can it be thought that a creature, who needs to be nourished, may be god!

To call someone god who needs something is to say, “he is not in need”; whereas this is a contradiction.

“See how Allah does make His signs clear to them.” (Maida: 75)

How are We declaring the evidences proving the humanity of Jesus -peace be upon him- and his mother!

“Yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth.” (Maida: 75)

Though this truth is more evident than the sun in daytime, they abstain from understanding.

In the holy Qur’an, it is often stated that Allah the Most High is exalted above having a son:

“They say: ‘Allah has begotten a son’: Glory be to Him. No, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: Everything renders worship to Him.” (Baqara: 116)

It is impossible to think that Allah, the Exalted, has taken unto Himself a son, for nothing resembles Him. He is the only One Creator.

“They say, ‘Allah has begotten a son!’ Glory be to Him! He is Self- Sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have you for this! Say you about Allah what you know not?” (Yunus: 68)

Allah, the Exalted, is far away of their slanders! Since neither does He declare he has begotten a son nor is there a statement meaning it, they are fabricating a disgusting lie and a bad surmise against Him.

“Say: ‘Those who invent a lie against Allah will never prosper.” (Yunus: 69)

They will not be safe of their fears and not reach their hopes and they will be driven to Hell, not Heaven.

“Behold! How they invent a lie against Allah! But that by itself is a manifest sin!” (Nisâa: 50)

Even they will have no other sin except it, it will be enough to surpass all other sins.

“He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: No son has He begotten, nor has He a partner in His dominion: It is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions.” (Furqan: 2)

Everything with his fate is under His Omnipotence hand. Everything has a limit that a servant can never exceed it. On the other hand, there is no end and limit to His Omnipotence. Because of this, nothing can be partner to Him by surpassing the limits of creation.

“The Jews call Uzair a son of Allah.” (Tauba: 30)

By this perverted word, they prepared the ground for the Christians to utter “Messiah is the son of Allah.”

“And the Christians call Christ the son of Allah.” (Tauba: 30)

At first even though some of the Christians uttered, after a while all of them have begun saying this, and they accused as disbeliever those who do not accept it.

“That is a saying from their mouths; in this they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say.” (Tauba: 30)

They are from the People of the Book but they are like polytheists and are considered as polytheist.

Allah’s curse be on them: How they are deluded away from the Truth!” (Tauba: 30)

Because of these slanders, they are subjected to the divine wrath of Allah the Most High:

“They say: ‘The Beneficient has begotten a son!’” (Mary: 88)

This is a claim without any evidence.

Due to this, Allah, the Exalted, ordains as follows:

“Indeed you have put forth a thing most monstrous!” (Mary: 89)

You have assuredly uttered a disastrous thing.

“At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin.

That they should invoke a son for Most Gracious.” (Mary: 90-91)

The universe, as a whole, is growing angry because of these words uttered against Allah, the Exalted. The respect of the universe and of whatever it includes towards Him is leading the universe to become angry. Because it has been created on the basis of Allah, the Exalted’s Unity.

“For it is not consonant with the majesty of Most Gracious that He should beget a son.” (Mary: 92)

They have not understood the difference between creating and reproducing.

While mentioning the blessings granted to Jesus -peace be upon him- and his mother Mary, Allah, the Exalted, declares the divine gifts bestowed on the Apostles who were his first believers and supporters:

“Behold! The Disciples said: ‘O Jesus the son of Mary! Can your Lord send down to us a table set from heaven?” (Maidaa: 112)

The Disciples saw Jesus -peace be upon him- as a man and a slave of Almighty Allah. They never considered their Messenger “god” or “the son of Allah.”

“Said Jesus: ‘Fear Allah, if you have faith.” (Maidaa: 112)

He invited them to comprehension. He reminded them that they should fear Allah.

“They said: ‘We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts and to know that you have indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle.” (Maidaa: 113)

The Apostles sincerely apologized by explaining their aim.

“Said Jesus the son of Mary: ‘O Allah! Our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set, that there may be for us, for the first and the last of us, a solemn festival and a sign from You.” (Maidaa: 114)

Jesus -peace be upon him- entreated twice in order to display his loyalty to Him; with both the divine attribute “Allah” which includes in itself all perfect qualities and the attribute “Lord” which has the meaning of education. He wished the day, when the table sent down, to be a feast for his community in his time and for the believers who would come after him.

“Give us sustenance, for You are the best of sustainers.” (Maidaa: 114)

Because Allah, the Exalted, is both the Creator of sustenance and its Sustainer without asking any fee.

Allah, Exalted and Glorified, accepted the supplication of Jesus -peace be upon him- with a dignity suitable to His Person.

“Allah said: ‘I will send it down unto you: But if any of you after that resists faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on anyone among all the peoples.” (Maidaa: 115)

Almighty Allah’s law, for those who disbelieve after witnessing miracles, which they themselves wanted, is to inflict punishment.

The conversation that will take place between Allah, the Exalted, and Jesus -peace be upon him- is stated in the holy Qur’an:

“And behold! Allah will say: ‘O Jesus, the son of Mary! Did you say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah?” (Maidaa: 116)

Without doubt, the target of the above reproach is not Jesus -peace be upon him- but those who believe in the trinity and whom consider him as god.

In spite of the fact that Almighty Allah knows that Jesus -peace be upon him- did not utter such a word; His asking this question intends to announce the truth to the Christians.

“He will say: ‘Glory to you! Never could I say what I had no right to say.” (Maidaa: 14)

How can I claim divinity while I am a creation? It is not mine to utter that slander to which I have no right. Although you absolutely know I did not utter such a slander, I do not know the divine wisdom of your question.

“Had I said such a thing, you would indeed, have known it.” (Maidaa: 116)

For, nothing remains hidden to you.

“You know what is in my hearth, though I know not what is in Yours.” (Maidaa: 116)

Your knowledge surrounds all that has happened and will happen. You know everything, my knowledge and that is about your Person. I do not know the divine wisdom of Your question although you absolutely know I did not utter such a slander. If You do not want I can know nothing.

“For you know in full all that is hidden.” (Maidaa: 116)

Nobody can perceive and know things on which you did not inform.

“Never said I to them aught except what you did command me to say, ‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” (Maidaa: 117)

I spoke unto them only that which you commanded me. I invited them to monotheism and servanthood.

“And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, when you did take me up you was the Watcher over them, and you are a witness to all things.” (Maidaa: 117)

While I was amongst them I was a watcher over them, I informed them of your orders and tried to prevent them from opposing your commands. When you raised me up unto Yourself by lifting me to the heavens, you have become the Watcher over them. Nothing can be hidden from You.

“If You do punish them, they are Your servants: If You do forgive them, You are the Exalted in power, the Wise.” (Maidaa: 118)

Therefore, neither is your chastisement unjust nor your forgiveness wrong. You do whatever you will; neither can Your decree be interfered with nor can its wisdom be objected to. You are the source of every fear, you are the source of every expectation.

“As for those disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.” (Al’ Imran: 56)

There will be found no one who will save them from the divine penalty.

The Christians have distorted the Gospel, which was sent down to Jesus -peace be upon him.

The Christians have four different Gospels within which some statements are contradictory and inconsistencies exist. Considering that the statements of these four Gospels differ from each other, they are all lies. That is, none of them is the real Gospel that was sent down to Jesus -peace be upon him. Since there are many contradictions between them and they are different, which one of them one should believe in? Rabbis and monks have written and added new things according to their own desires. The Christians, too, have followed and taken them to be their lords in derogation of Allah.

The People of the Book were not satisfied with saying Jesus was “the son of God”, they have also claimed “the son of Mary is Lord” and moreover they have made their rabbis and their monks as lords besides Allah. This subject is stated in the holy verse like that:

“They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ, the son of Mary; yet, they were commanded to worship but One Allah: There is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).” (Tauba: 31)

They did not obey this order, they have strayed and they have made associates to Allah.

“They do blaspheme who say: ‘Allah is Christ, the son of Mary’” (Maidaa: 72)

Whereas Jesus -peace be upon him- has told them:

“But said Christ: ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.’ Whoever joins other gods with Allah, Allah will forbid him the Garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.” (Maidaa: 72)

Our Master, the Messenger of Allah Muhammad -peace be upon him- has explained the meaning of the noble verse: “They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah”:

When he was Christian, Adiy, the son of Hâtim, had arrived to Madina to learn about Islam. He asked some questions to the Messenger of Allah in order to answer his suspicions. “This verse blames us for taking our priests and anchorites as our lords. Whereas, we do not take them to be our lords. What is the meaning of this?” he asked.

The Messenger of Allah asked “They prohibited lawful and made legal things illegal. Did not you accept and approve of this?” Adiy confirmed: “Yes, we did.” The Messenger of Allah stated:

“Look, by doing so you really worshipped them.”

This hadith shows us that people take their souls as their lords when they do not take into account the Book of Allah and when they prohibit lawful and make the prohibited lawful. Followers of those men also take them to be their lords, as the hadith explains. Even they say “We have faith in Allah”, this is only a claim, which is not true.

O Christians! Do not worship these gods; because the Messenger of Allah interprets them as “god.” Consider lawful as lawful, prohibited as prohibited.

In that case, in order to learn the truth, one must be honored with Islam. Otherwise, never say “We have faith in Jesus -peace be upon him-, he is our Messenger.”

Allah, Exalted and Glorified, closes the epoch of one and opens the era of another. The essential requirement is to believe in the Messenger of the present epoch. Because of this, know well that each Christian is in deviation and Hell for they disbelieve. The way of salvation: To accept Islam, to have faith in the Last Messenger, to follow every order of Allah the Most High and to refrain from His every prohibition.

O Christians! If you really believe in Jesus -peace be upon him-, comply with his declarations about Almighty Allah.

As stated in the Holy Qur’an, each prophet was assigned the mission of approving the messenger before him and also confirming and announcing the last Messenger who would be Muhammad -may Allah commend and salute him.

Allah, the Exalted, informed all prophets of Muhammad -peace be upon him- and of his attributes. If they would live in Muhammad’s -peace be upon him- time period, they promised that they would believe in his religion and assist him. They informed their followers of Muhammad -peace be upon him- and obtained obedience from them.

In a holy verse of the Qur’an:

“Behold! Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying: ‘I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a Messenger, confirming what is with you; do you believe in him and render him help.’ Allah said: ‘Do you agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?’ They said: ‘We agree.’ He said: ‘Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.” (Al’ Imran: 81)

Almighty Allah did not only introduce Muhammad -peace be upon him- to Jesus -peace be upon him- but also to all Messengers.

“Help” mentioned in the holy verse means for all the Prophets to inform and recommend Muhammad -peace be upon him- to their communities and explain his virtue and excellence to them and that he is the Beloved and Friend of Almighty Allah.

Although the Christians assert they have faith in Jesus -peace be upon him-, they do not obey him either and even they oppose him, too.

Jesus -peace be upon him- before his being raised to the heavens proclaimed the greatest good news to mankind of a Messenger to come after him, whose name would be Ahmad:

“O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law ( book of Moses which came) before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad” (Saff: 6)

The last prophet of the Israelites, Jesus -peace be upon him- refreshed the religious life during his time and announced openly along with his name the last Messenger Ahmad to come after him and he caused thoughts and opinions to incline to the last Messenger, Muhammad -peace be upon him.

The acknowledgement of the Torah by Jesus -peace be upon him- is by means of informing. Because in the Torah there was news about both Jesus -peace be upon him- and the last Messenger, Muhammad -peace be upon him. Because of this, Jesus -peace be upon him-, by giving glad tidings about the near coming of Ahmad -peace be upon him, confirmed the accuracy of the news about his advent.

Ahmad means one who glorifies Almighty Allah much and also has the meaning “one who is praised much, especially by the servants of Allah.”

In the Torah, good news was realized by the arrival of Jesus Christ -peace be upon him. The glad tidings in the Torah about the arrival of Muhammad -peace be upon him- was approved and announced by Jesus -peace be upon him- and pointed out that he was preceding him. One of the prophetic tasks of Jesus -peace be upon him- was, while communicating divine orders to the believers in his nation, to recommend and proclaim the advent of such a Messenger.

O Christian world! Who do you follow and worship in spite of so clear declaration.

O Jews and Christians! If you believe in One Allah, this is His order. If you have faith in Jesus -peace be upon him-, these are his words. Who do you worship instead of Allah, the Exalted? I am asking this question in order for you to ask your conscience. If you do not believe in the declarations of Allah, the Exalted, and the words of Jesus -peace be upon him-, who then do you believe in? Consult your conscience once and answer it by yourself! This holy verse addresses you and Jesus -peace be upon him- talks to you.

Allah, Exalted and Glorified, declares in another holy verse:

“And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them.” (Nisaa: 159)

Each Christian will die believing in Jesus -peace be upon him. They will believe but their faith will be useless, because he is not the Messenger of the time. Only the faith in the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, -peace be upon him- is acceptable.

However, the Christians have wasted their time by claiming ‘We believe in Jesus.’ On the other hand, Jesus -peace be upon him- had commanded them to follow the last Messenger, whom they have rejected.

In spite of their pretension of faith in Jesus -peace be upon him-, they have not obeyed him in this respect.

Jesus -peace be upon him- being witness against them will say:

“Have I not informed you of the arrival of Muhammad peace be upon him, his virtue and characteristics? Have I not commanded you to believe in him?”

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira -may Allah be pleased with him- that Allah’s Messenger -peace be upon him- stated in his honorable hadith:

“By Him in whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he whom amongst the community of Jesus or Christians hears about me but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire.”

Because it was necessary to conform to the order of Almighty Allah. It was also necessary to comply with the order of Jesus -peace be upon him-, but they did not accept the command and law of Allah, the Exalted, and by this they became disbelievers.

This honorable hadith is the proof of the cancellation of all the earlier religions by the coming of the Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- and its validation of the requirement of belief in the Messenger.

The judgment is not only valid for the people living in the time of Muhammad -peace be upon him- but also for every man, woman and period till Doomsday, since another messenger will not come nor will another Book be revealed.

The religion brought both by Moses -peace be upon him- and Jesus -peace be upon him- was in reality Islam. According to the Holy Qur’an, Moses -peace be upon him- addressed his community:

“O my people! If you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him if you are Muslims (those who submit to Allah’s Will)” (Yunus: 84)

The disciples said to Jesus -peace be upon him:

“We are Allah’s helpers: We believe in Allah, and bear you witness that we are Muslims.” (Al’ Imran: 52)

While Jesus -peace be upon him-, as well as the Disciples, accepted Islam, why are you insisting on disbelief.

In a holy verse, revealed for those who have faith from among the People of the Book.

“And when it is recited to them, they say: “We believe in it. Verily, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed even before it we have been from those who submit themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims.” (Qasas: 53)

The believers believed as stated in the holy verse and were saved. But how will you be saved from this deviation?

In the presence of Allah, neither Christianity nor Judaism are acceptable, but only Islam.

Allah, the Exalted, states in the Holy Qur’an:

“The religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.” (Al’ Imran: 19)

Allah, the Exalted, informs in His holy verse that Abraham -peace be upon him- was neither Christian nor Jew but a Muslim who had faith in Allah’s Oneness:

“Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was an upright Muslim and he was not of the polytheists.” (Al’ Imran: 67)

The religion brought by Moses -peace be upon him- has been distorted; the religion brought by Jesus -peace be upon him- also has been distorted.

But Abraham -peace be upon him- was a true Muslim belonging to the essential monotheistic religion and was far from all other invalid ones. Almighty Allah points out that the Jews and the Christians are polytheists, by stating Abraham -peace be upon him- was not a polytheist.

I am too, inviting you with the word of Allah, the Exalted. Whoever believes is saved, whoever does not, Hell is his abode.

Islam began with the first man and the first prophet Adam -peace be upon him. Over time and by the arrival of each prophet it has developed towards pure excellence. Moses -peace be upon him- was sent a more extensive and excellent form of Islam than that which was sent to Noah -peace be upon him. Jesus -peace be upon him- was sent a more broad and superior form of Islam than that which was sent to Moses -peace be upon him. And by the arrival of Muhammad -peace be upon him- Islam has reached the last point of maturity and taken its final form. Because all of the Prophets of Almighty Allah form a brotherhood, all of them invited to the One and Only Allah, the Only One to whom worship is due. Muhammad -peace be upon him- has not only brought a revelation which confirmed and praised his previous prophet brothers but also a revelation which completed the Deen.

No new religion and prophet will be sent after Islam and Muhammad -peace be upon him.

“This day have I perfected your religion and completed my favor upon you.” (Maidaa: 3)

Allah the Most High has sent down His last religion and last Messenger as a completer of Islam, He has perfected His religion; He sealed with the decree:

“The religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.” (Al’ Imran: 19)

In His another holy verse, He commands:

“His verily is all creation and commandment.” (A’raf: 54)

Only to Him belongs the unlimited authority of creation and commandment.

Islam will endure till Doomsday. Allah, the Exalted, will continue to provide His support to His prophet and His religion with different manifestations.

“Fain would they put out the light of Allah with their mouth, but Allah will perfect His light however much the disbelievers are averse.” (Saff: 8)

As He has done at that time, today also He perfects His light and will preserve it till the Hereafter.

“It is He who has sent His apostle with guidance and the religion of truth to proclaim it over all religion, even though the pagans may detest it.” (Tawba: 33)

Both the Jews and the Christians had awaited the new Messenger as a man amongst them and to have the characteristics and peculiarities they desired. Whereas this intent was null and void in the Sight of Allah. Only Almighty Allah commands. It is Allah, the Exalted, who has sent His Messenger with the truth and guidance. Consequently, ever-useless thought is unimportant.

The superiority of Islam over all other religions is not solely reserved for the time of Allah’s Messenger -peace be upon him- but also until Doomsday.

Now too, the religion of truth is superior and dominant over all the others. Islam will protect its purity. It is Allah’s religion and it will not yield. Neither a single letter of the Holy Qur’an can be changed, nor a single holy verse be rejected.

O Christian world! Do not look at those saying, “We are Muslims” but consider the essence of Islam.

As there occurred divisions in the Jewish and Christian communities, divisions have begun to appear within the Muslim nation.

Allah’s Messenger -peace be upon him- states:

“People of the Book have been divided into 72 sects in their religions. On the other hand, this nation will be separated into 73 parts. One will be saved, all others will be in the Fire.”

Allah, the Most Supreme, clearly commands and informs the believers how the Jews, Christians and some Muslims have neglected divine commands:

“Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects, you (O Muhammad) have no concern in them in the least. Their affair is only with Allah, Who then will tell them what they used to do.” (An’am: 159)

This holy verse points out that all religious separatists are out of the religion, Islam.

The Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- expresses this in his honorable hadith:

“Whoever separates is not from us.”

Allah, Exalted and Glorified, considers believers as one single nation and those breaking this unity are out of Islam, that is they are not Muslims. Seventy-two sects out of seventy-three have abandoned Islam in this way.

Almighty Allah orders in His holy verses as follows:

“And lo! This your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me.

But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets that they are content with the religion and book together with them.

So leave them in their error till a time.

Think they that in their wealth and sons wherewith We provide them.

We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not.” (Muminun: 52-56)

Religion means their names, book means their personal views and regulations.

After abandoning Islam, each schismatic and party has developed a name. Allah the Most Great commands and informs us that these names are religions.

Therefore, do not accept as Muslims those who are out of Islam and everyone appearing with a name: Refahçý, Süleymancý, Nurcu, Kaplancý -The names of the groups in Turkey.

Beware, do not esteem them and consider them as Muslims. Absolutely know that according to these holy verses they have abandoned Islam.

The religion before Allah is Islam.

He declares in His holy verse:

“The religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.” (Al’Imran: 19)

Almighty Allah does not accept these schismatics to His servanthood and Allah’s Messenger also to nationhood.

They are the ones who have given up Islam and worshipped fame, wealth and their benefits.

None of the Muslims ever ask any fee in the use of his religion. All the Prophets said to communities, which they invited to truth:

“And I ask of you no wage therefore; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds.” (Shuara: 109)

Almighty Allah, in His another holy verse, instructs:

“Follow those who ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided.” (Yasin: 21)

This is a divine order and rule. Allah, the Most High, orders to follow them only and states that others have deviated. They can never have any relation with Islam.

The Messenger of Allah declares in his honorable hadith:

“My nation will divide into seventy-three sects, all will be in Hell, except one.

- Who will be they (the saved sect)?

That one is the one in which I and my companions are in today.”

Only one sect out of seventy-three sects lives Islam, others are Muslims in appearance.

Because of this, be not deceived by looking at their appearance, learn the truth from the declarations of Allah and His Messenger. The essence is the commandment of Allah, the claims of the ones, who are out of Islam, are vain.

Allah, the Exalted, reproaches in His holy verses the People of the Book for breaking their covenant and for hiding the Scripture:

“And when Allah laid a charge on those who had received the Scripture: ‘You are to expound it to mankind, and not to hide it.” (Al’Imran: 187)

“Those who were given the Scripture”, mentioned in the holy verse, are the scholars of the Jews and the Christians. The characteristics of Muhammad -peace be upon him- and his prophethood were explained in the Torah and in the Gospel. The good news about the advent of Muhammad -peace be upon him- was the greatest gift for the People of the Book. Allah, the Exalted, ordered in all the Scriptures the declaration and publication of this truth. Therefore, the most important task of the Jewish and Christian scholars was to expound the good news about the coming of Muhammad -peace be upon him.

“But they flung it behind their back and bought thereby a little gain.” (Al’Imran: 187)

They did not fulfil their promise. Worldly life and material interest deceived them, thus they hid the truth by changing, misinterpreting or covering it.

They ruined their eternal life for the benefit of the worldly desires.

At first, the Jews and the Christians did this.

Although this holy verse was revealed for the People of the Book, it also includes those who conceal the decrees of the Holy Qur’an. This verse comprises the concealment of truth in order to please cruel and to obtain worldly interest.

“And indeed worst is that which they bought.” (Al’Imran: 187)

Because they give up goodness and seek something worthless, evil is that which they have gained thereby.

“Think not that those who rejoice in what they have done, and love to be praised for what they have not done, -think not you that they are rescued from the torment.” (Al’Imran: 188)

They are pleased when they are praised as the defender of the religion, “the pious”, even though they do not have any of these virtues.

“A painful doom is theirs.” (Al’Imran: 188)

All-powerful Allah, the Lord of the earth and the heavens, threatens them with a grievous penalty.

“Unto Allah belongs the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. Allah is able to do all things.” (Al’Imran: 189)

Only His orders and power reign in His dominion. Nobody can oppose His decree. Without doubt those, who act against His orders, will be tormented.

The universe is a token of His Omnipotence. Although men perceive the symbols and reminders of the glorious majesty of Allah in the universe, because they are used to them, they can not understand and think this divine art.

It is stated in the holy verse as follows:

“In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.” (Al’Imran: 190)

These entire signs indicate His Sovereignty, Majesty, Omnipotence and that the universe belongs to Him.

The night this holy verse was revealed, the Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- wept so much so that the tears wetted his beard and said:

“Shame on those who do not think deeply this verse even though they read it.”

Allah, the Exalted, orders reflection in many of His holy verses and praises those who reflect:

“Such as remember Allah, standing, sitting and reclining and consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, (and say):

‘Our Lord! You have not created this in vain. Glory be to You! Preserve us from the doom of Fire.

Our Lord! Whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him. For evil-doers there will be no helpers.

Our Lord! Lo! We have heard a crier calling unto Faith: “Believe you in your Lord!” So we believed. Our Lord! Therefore forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous.

Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your messengers and disgrace us not on the day of Resurrection, for You never break Your promise.” (Al’Imran: 191-194)

Man should see everywhere in the universe the tokens of Allah, the Exalted. By this way, his faith matures.

Allah, the Exalted, declares that He will accept supplications of those who know His Oneness and Divinity, who think deeply the signs of His Omnipotence and who perform properly His religious duties:

“And their Lord accepted of them their supplication and answered them: ‘I suffer not the work of any worker, male or female, to be lost. You proceed one from another. So those who fled and were driven forth from their homes and suffered damage for My cause, and fought and were slain, verily I shall remit their evil deeds from them and verily I shall bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow: A reward from Allah. And with Allah is the fairest of rewards.” (Al’Imran: 195)

These are such rewards that no one has seen them, no one has heard them and no one has ever thought them.

The rewards in the Hereafter will not be as those given to unbelievers in the world; they will never perish and be exhausted.

“Let not the vicissitude of the success of those who disbelieve, in the land, deceive you.” (Al’Imran: 196)

Let not the blessings and affluence, the strutting and privileges of the unbelievers mislead you.

“It is but a brief comfort. And afterward their habitation will be hell, an ill abode.” (Al’Imran: 197)

The unbelievers benefit from the worldly blessings for a very short time, then they vanish; and on the Judgment Day they will face an intense torment.

Then Allah, the Exalted, states that the best bliss belongs to pious believers:

“But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow; therein are they to dwell for ever.” (Al’Imran: 198)

There, they will never remain deprived of these blessings.

“A gift of welcome from Allah.” (Al’Imran: 198)

The greatest kindness.

“And that which is with Allah is the best for Al-Abrar (the righteous.)” (Al’Imran: 198)

Because in the Hereafter the blessings will be eternal. They will never perish as those in the world.

In the following holy verses Allah, the Exalted, mentions a community of the People of the Book; He distinguishes them from the rest who hid the verses of the Scripture.

“And of the People of the Scripture there are some who believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto you and that which was revealed unto them, humbling themselves before Allah.” (Al’Imran: 199)

They are so virtuous that they believe not only the Scripture revealed to them but also the Holy Qur’an revealed unto Muhammad -peace be upon him.

“They do not sell the verses of Allah for a little price.” (Al’Imran: 199)

They do not conceal the commands in their Scriptures such as the attributes of Muhammad -peace be upon him- and the good news of his advent.

They are the distinguished and virtuous group of the People of the Book.

“Verily their reward is with their Lord.” (Al’Imran: 199)

The reward will be delivered them in abundance.

“Allah is swift to take account.” (Al’Imran: 199)

If the account is swift, without doubt the punishment is also swift.

And the Sura, Al’Imran, ends with the following holy verse:

“O you who believe! Endure, outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that you may succeed.” (Al’Imran: 200)
